Raised in Scotland, and currently living in Cumbria, 

Hannah Faith Jackson is a multi-award-winning photographer, researcher and curator. 

Through her photographic practice she explores notions of people, place and landscape, examining the complexities and connections between these. Her current research practice is focused on the landscape of the Scottish Highlands and Islands, specifically exploring the challenges local people in isolated communities face regarding language, tourism, education, communication and identity. 

She is a passionate advocate for art in rural communities, and working collaboratively to bring art from Scotland’s west coast to new audiences fuels her current curatorial practice.
